Hello! My name is Candace “Cee” Crump, and I’m a Social Media Marketer and Customer Relations Analyst based in North Carolina. I have a Bachelor’s Degree from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro in Sociology and African American Studies. It is with the help of my
supportive husband and close friends that I have decided to take a leap of faith, as well as courage, to turn my favorite pastime into a successful business.

    A great friend of mine and entrepreneur began to share her interest in sewing and how exhilarating the experience was. Of course after much coaxing, I made the first investment in “me” – I purchased my first sewing machine. I became absorbed very quickly, purchasing sewing books, watching YouTube tutorials, reading blogs, and frequent trips to various fabric stores. Since I lose control buying clothes and accessories, I felt like teaching myself how to make my own clothing and accessories would keep money in my pockets (and keep my husband happy :)). I would post a few of my projects on my personal social media pages and many people took interest in how I made them and/or if I could make them something. I took this as an opportunity to supplement my income and make a little money from a hobby. However, my great friend and husband told me that I was capable of turning my hobby into a business. With my passion for creativity, my organizational skills, and my marketing background, I was capable of starting my own business. Long story short, you’re reading my first installment….
